Yesterday: Millie and I took a brave eBub to have her MMR booster vaccination. She cried for about five seconds afterwards, until distracted by a book – that’s my girl!
It was a panic trying to get her there. Because the Lovely Melanie works so far away I had to work from home so I could:
- take the girls to nursery in the morning
- get home and work all day
- pick the girls up from nursery at 4pm
- take them to the doctor’s
- meet the Lovely Melanie at the doctor’s
- get home again for a telephone meeting with my boss in the US at 5pm
- work for another hour
- get to Peckham to go to the cinema at 8.15
It was quite stressful, and the film (Red Cliff) was nearly three hours long and a bit disappointing.

Actually (1), that said, I’ve just heard The Invisible and they’re very good. Luckily.
Actually (2) – the Exlovers sound quite good, too – result!
