Poor Amber – she was so excited this morning. It’s her nursery’s 45th anniversary since it opened and they’re having a party today, so everyone’s allowed to dress up.
Amber chose (of course!) her Snow White dress and talked about nothing else at the breakfast table and on the bus this morning.
But I’ve just had a text from the Lovely Melanie: the nursery have rung her to say that Amber’s had a nasty fall and split both her top and bottom lip and had a nosebleed. 😦
They haven’t asked for one of us to go and collect her, thank goodness, but that’s no way to go to a party…
OK, so you might go home from a party in that kind of state occasionally, but you don’t want to arrive like it!
