Welcome, 2012

Despite having a great New Year’s Eve (so great, in fact, that I can’t actually remember parts of it and took almost two whole days to recover) I decided not to make a fuss about the turn of 2011 into 2012.

It was, undoubtedly, the most difficult year we’ve ever faced in my family and Trev’s death will continue to define us for…well, probably for the rest of our lives to one degree or another.  We’re almost a year on from his death now and I still think about him every single day.  Probably always will.

So, no “Best of 2011” posts or anything like that for me.  2011 was something to be endured and learned from.  While there were moments of love, laughter, and fun, I’m putting 2011 in a sealed box marked “Best Forgotten”.
