What’s the point of it?

About me

Hello, I'm Stuart Carter: writer, husband to the Lovely Melanie and father to Millie and Amber.

We all live in a little house on the southeastern edge of London, and I make a living creating digital stuff for the RPS.

I used to have another website. It's all dark and quiet there now, but many hundreds of reviews remain there, which is how all this got started back in 2002.

I don't currently blog, but still write regular book reviews for the British Science Fiction Association.

What else? Well, Millie was born three months premature in 2005, weighing just 690 grams; tragedy struck in 2011 when my younger brother, Trev, died suddenly and unexpectedly; and my dad had a heart transplant in 2008.

Both Millie and my Dad are still fit and well.
